In the context of globalization, companies are invited to implement technological innovations that are not exploited by the competition. It is in this context that the cross-border program Interreg IV informs you of the realization of his project which extends from 2007 to 2011, called FIIER-T (Training, Industrial Intelligence in Cross-border Network).

The products and processes that will be developed or modified based on these technological advances will require a certain level of expertise. Therefore, the training organizations involved in this project will make every effort to develop the right skills.

In this way, technicians will be prepared to work with these new technologies to better meet the needs of companies.

To maintain competitiveness and labor, these investments centered on technological developments will be accompanied by deployments on human resources considering safety at the workplace. This priority will help to learn how to use these technological innovations safely.

Objectives :

• Stimulate and reinforce the potential for economic growth and cross-border innovation.
• Train:
  • - in the installation and operation of data provided by intelligent sensors
  • - in rapid prototyping and high-speed machining
  • - in safety at the workplace
• Making these resources the most efficient.
• Ensure regional companies seeking to engage in the acquisition of these new technologies to find in the border area a skilled workforce and training organizations able to provide the additional training to people in place.
• Increase workers and job seekers mobility to promote multicultural discovery, openness and job search in the border area.
• Promote distance training through the use of information and communications technology.
• strengthen linkages between the training at school in these sectors and business needs.
• Promote at all levels the safety and good practices on these new technologies
