MECALIVE CEREMONY: Liévin Arena Stade Couvert

The UIMM Hauts-de-France is co-organizing, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the Arena Stade Couvert in Liévin, with the IDEE unit of the Hauts-de-France Academic Region, the MECALIVE 2026 ceremony which brings together several competitions: Skillbot (a robotics programming competition, from primary to middle school), Regard sur l'industrie (a photo competition open to middle and high school students, to change the perspective on the sector) and Green power (an optimization challenge for electric single-seaters aimed at high school students).

The program for this day includes:

  • Morning: Exhibition and presentation of projects & Various activities
  • Afternoon: Awards ceremony

This event is part of the regional project Electromob', whose objective is to develop the attractiveness of the "electromobility" sector and to ensure skills development through training to meet the new needs related to the electrification of the automotive sector.During this ceremony, approximately 800 to 1000 young people will present their projects. Throughout the day, students will be offered robotics-focused demonstrations and other fun activities to raise their awareness of careers in industry.

Exhibiting at this event, PFT Innovaltech ran a robot programming stand, a robot piloting training workshop followed by a match in a maze between participants, as well as a Kitcar IOT piloting demonstration.

PFT INNOVALTECH joins the EURAMATERIALS competitiveness cluster

PFT INNOVALTECH continues to develop its network of partners by joining EuraMaterials, a leading competitiveness cluster dedicated to industrial transitions through materials and processes.

This membership is part of the platform's strategy to strengthen collaborations between research, innovation and business stakeholders in order to support industrial changes, promote technology transfer and develop high value-added collaborative projects.

Initial discussions with the EuraMaterials teams quickly highlighted numerous complementary areas of expertise between the two organizations. PFT INNOVALTECH's skills in mechanical engineering, additive manufacturing, innovative processes, characterization, prototyping, and demonstrator development can be leveraged within the framework of innovation projects supported by the cluster's network. Simultaneously, EuraMaterials' expertise in project engineering, fundraising, support for European projects, and networking provides a significant advantage for accelerating the development of new collaborations.
This momentum has already resulted in the identification of initial cooperation opportunities in advanced materials, additive manufacturing, material reproduction, and innovative processes, with the ambition of jointly responding to several regional and national calls for projects. PFT INNOVALTECH will also join EuraMaterials' "Talent Pool" to make its skills and technical resources available to the industrial ecosystem.

By joining EuraMaterials, PFT INNOVALTECH confirms its commitment to actively contribute to the development of a more innovative, sustainable and competitive industry, while strengthening its commitment to serving businesses and the regional innovation ecosystem.

PFT INNOVALTECH joins the ALTYTUD cluster

As part of its strategy to develop partnerships in the service of innovation, PFT INNOVALTECH is joining the ALTYTUD cluster, a federating network for the Aeronautics, Space and Defense sector in the Hauts-de-France region.

This membership reflects the platform's desire to strengthen its involvement with regional industries and to contribute to the development of collaborative projects involving companies, research centers and higher education institutions.

With over twenty years of expertise in mechanical engineering, prototyping, additive manufacturing, high-speed machining, multi-material assembly and innovative material transformation processes, PFT INNOVALTECH will make available to ALTYTUD members its skills in applied research, technology transfer, development of demonstrators and support for innovation.

This collaboration will also promote the development of synergies around ALTYLAB's activities, particularly on R&D projects addressing the challenges of competitiveness, industrial performance and technological transition of companies in the sector.

The validation of this membership reflects the recognition of the expertise of PFT INNOVALTECH and its ability to support manufacturers in their development projects.

By joining ALTYTUD, the PFT INNOVALTECH confirms its commitment to collaborative innovation, serving the influence of the aeronautics, space and defense sector in Hauts-de-France and the competitiveness of companies in the region.

CHOP’ TON JOB ! (get your job)

On Friday, March 13, 2026, PFT Innovaltech participated in the first "Chop' ton job" event organized by the Amiens Education Board with the partnership of the Campus of Trades and Qualifications (CMQ) of the Hauts-de-France region. This participatory career exploration forum was held in Péronne.

Aimed at fourth-grade students, it offers them a first participatory immersion in the professional world, allowing them to experience professional gestures rather than simply being spectators.

PFT Innovaltech offered these middle school students a demonstration of 3D printing and the opportunity to use a 3D scanner. Of the 900 eighth-grade students from 11 participating middle schools, approximately 10% interacted and/or used the equipment at the booth.

DESTINATION TALENTS 3rd Edition

PFT Innovaltech participated in the 3rd edition of Destination Talents, which took place on February 3rd and 4th, 2026 at the Palais des Sports in Saint-Quentin

This event aims to foster connections between young people and careers in industry. It seeks to organize and facilitate meetings between current industry professionals and the next generation, allowing young people to discover the industrial, transport, and logistics sectors in an engaging way and learn about the career opportunities available in these fields. For local businesses, this initiative represents an opportunity to attract, recruit, and retain new talent in the industrial sector over the medium and long term.

This event welcomed nearly 1,800 visitors over two days, featuring 18 company booths, 12 training booths, 4 partner booths, 3 main activities, and 25 participating schools.

The event, focused on engaging with young people, was a resounding success , allowing exhibitors to showcase their products and/or professions through demonstrations, hands-on activities, or other fun and interactive formats designed to capture visitors' attention and encourage participation and involvement.

35th edition of Science Festival

35th edition of Science Festival

Organized by the ministry of education and coordinated in the Hauts-de-France region by Ombelliscience, the 34th edition of the Science Festival took place from October 3 to 13, 2025, on the theme of "Intelligences". Free and open to all, this event celebrates, as it does every year, the sharing of science.

On Friday, October 10, ESC and PFT Innovaltech mobilized all day during this edition to run around fifteen stands, spread across 6 distinct zones, (CDI, EIP, PFT Innovaltech, CPRP, STI2D) at the Condorcet high school.

Four workshops were offered by PFT Innovaltech:

  • Workshop 1:  Making a plastic spinning top with a manual injection press and an aluminum mold.
  • Workshop 2:  Discovering virtual reality through a game.
  • Workshop 3:  Piloting a pre-programmed Maqueen robot. Students pilot the robots in a maze using a joystick.
  • Workshop 4:  Introduction to using a portable 3D scanner and an FDM 3D printer

218 students and around twenty escorts were able to discover and participate in these workshops, with very positive feedback from surveys. This satisfaction reflected both the organization and the enthusiasm of the presenters and student facilitators.

AFTERWORK of the Territory's companies

The afterwork of the companies of the Territory around the Expo “Elégance et Modernité” took place on September 16, 2025 at the Espace Saint-Jacques in Saint-Quentin, in the presence of Frédérique MACAREZ, Mayor of Saint-Quentin.

This friendly event, organized by the Economic Development team of the CASQ – Communauté de l'Agglomération du Saint-Quentinois, was a moment of exchange and discovery around the exhibition.

Commented by two speakers, a tour of the exhibition was organized to admire 400 art works from public and private collections, highlighting the world of Art Deco and artists of the 1920s.

Following this private visit, a networking cocktail brought together companies, institutions, and all participants, including PFT Innovaltech, to continue discussions.
