Composite materials

There are various composite fabrication techniques (continuous process, pultrusion, centrifugation, filament winding, open molding, etc.) but the closed molding methods - RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) or infusion - have progressed more quickly due to numerous improvements and developments, in particular for faster production of large series for the automotive industry, and because they are intended for smaller series than the SMC / BMC. This sector is growing faster than the others, at 13% / year; It represents 10% of the total in Europe.
